Seeking the following : Danny Zuko: Male lead, 20s, tenor. The charming leader of the T-Birds. Cool, confident, and a bit of a bad boy, but with a soft side that comes through in his love for Sandy. Vocal Range: Tenor (D3 to B4). Needs swagger, charm, and some emotional vulnerability. Audition Song: •“Sandy” – •“Greased Lightnin’” – Sandy: Female lead, 20s, soprano. A sweet, wholesome girl who falls for Danny. Initially shy and reserved, she eventually embraces her inner confidence. Vocal Range: Soprano (A3 to F5). Needs a mix of purity and strength in her voice. Audition Songs: •“Hopelessly Devoted to You” –. •“You’re the One That I Want” – Rizzo: Female, 20s, alto/mezzo-soprano. The bold, sarcastic leader of the Pink Ladies. She is tough, independent, and emotionally complex. Vocal Range: Alto/Mezzo (A3 to C5). The youngest of the T-Birds, goofy and endearing. A dreamer who loves music and the guitar. Vocal Range: Tenor (D3 to G4). Needs a sweet, light rock tone and charm. Audition Song: •“Those Magic Changes” – Marty: Female, 20s, mezzo-soprano. The glamorous and sophisticated member of the Pink Ladies. Marty is flirtatious and mature for her age, often writing to older men. Vocal Range: Mezzo-Soprano (A3 to C5). Needs a sultry tone with comedic flair. Audition Song: •“Freddy, My Love” – Jan: Female, 20s, alto. The funny and awkward member of the Pink Ladies. She has a big personality and a love of food. Vocal Range: Alto (A3 to C5). Needs a light, comedic tone. Audition Song: •“Mooning” – A duet that showcases her humor and sweetness. Roger: Male, 20s, baritone. A jokester of the T-Birds with a big heart. He has a playful relationship with Jan. Vocal Range: Baritone (C3 to G4). Needs comedic timing and a rock voice. Audition Song: •“Mooning” – •“Rock ‘n’ Roll Party Queen” – Teen Angel: Male, 20s to 40s, tenor. A suave, crooning angel who appears in Frenchy’s dream. Smooth and charming with a larger-than-life presence. Vocal Range: Tenor (E3 to B4). Needs a rich, crooner-style voice with comedic flair. Audition Song: •“Beauty School Dropout” – Miss Lynch: Female, 30s to 60s, spoken role. The strict, no-nonsense teacher at Rydell High. Has comedic moments but does not require singing. His voice is smooth yet gritty, embodying the heart of rock and roll. Beneath the swagger, there’s a sensitivity and vulnerability. •Vocal Range: Baritone/Tenor (A3–C5) •Audition Song: “Blue Christmas” (Elvis Presley) JERRY LEE LEWIS Description: Early 20s. A brash, fiery, and energetic piano prodigy with an outrageous sense of humor. He’s cocky, unpredictable, and a little wild—a true showman who thrives on chaos. Requires strong piano skills with an eccentric, animated performance style. •Vocal Range: Tenor (A3–C5) •Audition Song: “Great Balls of Fire” (Jerry Lee Lewis) CARL PERKINS Description: Mid to late 20s. A rugged, brooding, and talented guitarist with a chip on his shoulder. He feels overshadowed by Elvis’s success, even though he’s a rockabilly pioneer. Strong guitar skills required. He’s more grounded and intense than the others. •Vocal Range: Baritone/Tenor (A3–F5) •Audition Song: “Matchbox” (Carl Perkins) JOHNNY CASH Description: Late 20s to early 30s. The “Man in Black,” a towering figure with a deep, resonant voice and a quiet, stoic demeanor. His intensity is compelling, with an undercurrent of vulnerability. Guitar proficiency is essential. •Vocal Range: Bass/Baritone (E2–F4) •Audition Song: “I Walk the Line” (Johnny Cash) DYANNE Description: 20s to early 30s. Elvis’s girlfriend, a confident, sultry, and sophisticated woman with a magnetic presence. She’s stylish, sharp, and has a powerful voice capable of blues, jazz, and rock. •Vocal Range: Mezzo-Soprano with belt (G3–E5) •Audition Song: “Fever” (Peggy Lee) SAM PHILLIPS Description: 30s to 40s. Founder of Sun Records and the man who discovered Elvis, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins. He’s a visionary with a strong business sense, charming, persuasive, and passionate about music. Non-singing role. •Audition: Prepare a monologue showcasing charisma and authority, preferably from a play set in a similar era.


Seeking the following : *SunKick Line Dancers will be cast at live NYC auditions. Singing roles: SunKicks: Barry -“This Christmas” (25-35, tenor, Motown-style) Noel’s boyfriend / hopeful financé who is a major in the armed services. Barry is head-over-heels for Noel and hopeful to ask her to marry him. Barry is kind, witty, an extremely strong singer, and smooth mover. SunKicks: Holly - “Let It go” (25-35. strong belt) Kris Jr.’s wife and mother of Kris III and Clara. Holly is typically stressed out by the holidays. Being married to Kris Jr., she is intimidated at trying to live up to her mother-in-law at Christmas. A strong belter. SunKicks: Mary - “Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas” (20-35 (strong mix) Kris and Carol’s youngest child. Mary is just finding her own way in the world. She works for a ski resort in Vermont, where she lives a little more of an easy-going life. She’s a daddy’s girl through and through, never wanting to disappoint him. SunKicks- Kris JR “Man With a Bag” (25-35, bari-tenor, music theatre/opera style) Kris and Carol’s oldest son. Kris Jr. lives in NYC with his wife, Holly, and kids, Kris III and Clara. To relieve work stress, he volunteers his time each Christmas as a mall Santa. With his strong persona and charming looks, he is the perfect balance between a strong and caring father and an extremely handsome husband SunKicks- Nick “Run Run Rudolph” (20-30 bari-tenor, country/pop style) Kris and Carol’s third child. Nick is an upcoming Nashville star and has the demeanor of a suave, southern gentleman. Speaks with a southern twang and has a smile that will melt your heart.

Passionate, torn, and deeply conflicted about his love for Kim and his duty to his country and new life. Vocal Range: Tenor (B2 to B4). Requires a strong, emotionally charged voice. Audition Song: •“Why God Why?” – •“The Last Night of the World” – The Engineer: Male, 30s to 50s, baritone. A scheming, charismatic opportunist who runs a sleazy club in Vietnam. He is manipulative and morally ambiguous but also comedic and larger-than-life. Vocal Range: Baritone (B2 to G4). Requires charm, comedic timing, and dramatic power. Audition Song: •“The American Dream” – •“If You Want to Die in Bed” – John: Male, 20s to 30s, baritone/tenor. Chris’s best friend and fellow GI. Initially a carefree soldier, he later becomes a passionate advocate for the children left behind in Vietnam. Vocal Range: Baritone/Tenor (A2 to G4). Needs strength, warmth, and emotional resonance. Audition Song: •“Bui Doi” – •“The Last Night of the World” Ellen: Female, 20s to 30s, mezzo-soprano. Chris’s American wife, who struggles with his unresolved feelings for Kim.
